San Cristobal Express – Day 2

Day 2 – Navigable Tour – Kicker Rock Adventure

After a delightful breakfast at your hotel, you will head to San Cristobal’s main pier to board a speedboat for an exciting day tour. The first stop is Kicker Rock, located northeast of San Cristobal Island. This islet consists of two eroded volcanic tuff rocks that rise dramatically to 148 meters (485 feet) above the water.

From certain angles, the rocks resemble a sea lion, hence the name “León Dormido” or «Sleeping Sea Lion» in Spanish.
Your tour will bring you close to these impressive formations, where you can observe a variety of wildlife, including blue-footed and Nazca boobies, frigate birds, and pelicans that rest and nest on the upper parts of the rocks. Following this, your guide will provide instructions for snorkeling in the channel between the two rocks, where you can marvel at the abundant marine life such as sea turtles, rays, sharks, sea lions, schools of fish, and numerous tropical fish species.

The tour also includes a visit to one of the stunning beaches like Puerto Grande, Manglecito, or Cerro Brujo. Here, you can disembark to observe various bird species and enjoy activities such as swimming, snorkeling, or simply relaxing on the beach. In the afternoon, you will return to Puerto Baquerizo Moreno and be dropped off at your chosen hotel.
