M/S The Beagle

A classic sailing adventure for your Galapagos journey

The M/S Beagle, named after Charles Darwin’s famous ship, offers a magnificent sailing experience in the Galapagos Islands. The Beagle is a 105ft steel-hulled brigantine with teak decking, originally built in England. Stepping on board immerses you in a romantic and classic maritime atmosphere, reminiscent of the days of sail.

Below deck, there are six beautifully-appointed air-conditioned cabins with solid wood fixtures. Each cabin has a double lower bunk and a single upper bunk, as well as a private en suite bathroom with a full-size hot water shower. There’s also a smaller seventh cabin for one or two more passengers.

The communal areas on board are warm and inviting. The cozy salon features teak furniture and comfortable sofas, along with a ship’s library and games. The dining room has large picture windows and sociable tables for dining with fellow passengers.

The wide decks provide plenty of comfortable places to sit and relax. Meals and snacks can be enjoyed both in the salon and on deck.

The onboard cuisine offers a delightful mix of Ecuadorian and international flavors. Dietary requirements can be accommodated with advanced notice.

The Beagle has a professional bilingual naturalist guide to ensure you have an immersive Galapagos experience, learning about the unique wildlife and habitats. The vessel has special permits, including the unique privilege of snorkeling in Fernandina, Punta Espinoza. Snorkeling gear and kayaks are available for guests to use.

The Beagle is well-suited for special occasions such as anniversaries or birthday celebrations, thanks to its romantic style and unique Galapagos experience.
