DAY 1
AM: Arrival San Cristobal Airport
Assistance at the airport by our representative for your Galapagos flight.
You will arrive at San Cristobal Island in the morning. After passing through immigration and baggage claim you will be met by the yacht´s staff and transferred to the yacht. You will be shown to your cabin where you will have some time to settle in before lunch and a welcome briefing.
PM: Lobos Island – Diving Site
Lobos Island, named after its colony of Galapagos Sea Lions, is a vibrant dive site bustling with marine life. In the water, you’ll encounter Fur Seals, Blue-Footed Boobies, Trumpet Fish, Green Turtles, Rays, and white-tip reef sharks. If you’re fortunate, you might also catch a glimpse of marine iguanas, although sightings are rare.
In the clear waters surrounding Lobos Island, divers are treated to an underwater spectacle. Galapagos Sea Lions and Fur Seals playfully navigate through the depths, while Blue-Footed Boobies dive for fish and Trumpet Fish dart among the coral formations. Keep your eyes peeled for Green Turtles leisurely swimming by, accompanied by the occasional appearance of Rays, white-tip reef sharks, and elusive marine iguanas, adding to the island’s diverse marine ecosystem.
