The dive site is conveniently located just 30 minutes from Itabaca Channel, on the northern side of Santa Cruz Island, making it easily accessible for divers looking to explore the underwater beauty of the region.

Site Conditions: Divers can expect generally calm conditions at this site, with typically no strong currents, creating an enjoyable experience for divers of various skill levels. The underwater landscape features a combination of rocky and sandy bottoms, providing a diverse environment for marine life to thrive.

Activity and Marine Life: One of the highlights of diving at Daphne is the small cave, which serves as a resting area for white-tip reef sharks. While this is not a cave dive, the cave adds an intriguing element to the dive experience. In addition to the cave, divers will discover a prominent pinnacle that attracts a wealth of marine species.

This pinnacle is home to a variety of rays gliding gracefully through the water, as well as the iconic Galápagos sharks and sea turtles that frequent the area. The vibrant coral reef teems with life, showcasing colorful reef fishes and impressive barracudas. Black coral walls add to the visual spectacle, creating an enchanting underwater landscape.
