Punta Pitt: Exploring San Cristobal Island’s Natural Wonders

Our first stop is the Galapaguera, where we will walk along a trail through bushy vegetation. Here, you can spot San Cristobal mockingbirds (Cucuves) and Darwin’s finches, showcasing the island’s unique biodiversity.
Punta Pitt: Booby Sanctuary
Next, we sail to Punta Pitt, where a trail leads to a natural viewpoint offering panoramic views. Punta Pitt is the only place in the Galapagos where you can see all three booby species: Nazca boobies, blue-footed boobies, and the rare red-footed boobies. Watch these fascinating birds dive into the sea to catch fish and observe their unique behaviors.
Snorkeling Adventure
After exploring Punta Pitt, we navigate to a nearby islet for snorkeling. Dive into the crystal-clear waters to observe vibrant marine life, adding an underwater adventure to our land-based activities.
Lunch and Return
Enjoy a delightful lunch aboard the boat, then sail back to Puerto Baquerizo Moreno, reflecting on the incredible sights and experiences of the day.
