Tagus Cove

Tagus Cove – Isabela Island

Tagus Cove is a historical pirate hideaway located on the western shores of Isabela Island. It was usual for the crew of the ships that anchor here to paint or carve the name of the ships on the cliff that surround the cove. A large portion of the writing is graffiti left by the US Navy during the mid-1900’s, but the names of more ancient vessels can still be seen.
