Perched at an altitude of 3,600 meters (11,811 feet) above sea level, the hacienda enjoys a breathtaking panorama, surrounded by four volcanoes, including the iconic Cotopaxi. Guests indulge in the warmth and functionality of the hacienda, a working ranch committed to sustainable agriculture, cattle farming, conservation, and ecotourism. Beyond offering an immersive experience, El Porvenir takes pride in producing its own milk, cheese, and vegetables for the restaurant. Constructed with local materials, the farmhouse maintains the essence of traditional Andean architecture, with structures arranged around a spacious courtyard. Steeped in colonial-era history, El Porvenir was once managed by the Jesuits and was acquired by the Gangotena Escudero family in 1913. Today, under new ownership, Hacienda El Porvenir has been welcoming visitors since 1999, sharing the magic and enchantment of this beautiful spot with guests form all around the world.
