Galapagos Multisport – Day 2

Day 2 – Kicker Rock Full Day Exploration

After enjoying breakfast at your hotel, you’ll head to San Cristobal’s main pier to embark on a thrilling speedboat excursion for the day. Your first stop is Kicker Rock, located northeast of San Cristobal Island. This iconic formation consists of two volcanic tuff rocks that soar 148 meters (485 feet) above the water.

From certain angles, the rocks resemble a sea lion, earning it the local name “León Dormido” or «Sleeping Sea Lion».
Upon arrival, you’ll get up close to observe the diverse wildlife, including blue-footed and Nazca boobies, frigate birds, and pelicans, which inhabit and nest on the upper parts of the rock. Your guide will then brief you on the snorkeling activity. Navigate the channel between the two rocks to discover an abundance of marine life such as sea turtles, rays, sharks, sea lions, schools of fish, and various tropical fish species.

This adventure also includes a visit to a picturesque beach like Puerto Grande, Manglecito, or Cerro Brujo. Here, disembark to observe a variety of bird species and enjoy opportunities for swimming, snorkeling, or simply relaxing on the beach. In the afternoon, return to Puerto Baquerizo Moreno where you’ll be dropped off at your selected hotel.
